Please plan to be there early to get horses tacked up, sign the rider release, get your wristband for the rider raffle, and so on. So be there by 10 am or so. Please bring a pooper scooper.
The ride starts at the Wooden Table Inn -Britt Minnesota and we will be riding the state snowmobile trails (and we do have to ride about a 1/4 mile of road to get to the start of the trail)
We should get back around 2:00 or so, and of course everyone can eat at the Wooden Table if they want, while we are handing out the prizes, drawing for the quilt and rider raffles.
Normal trail ride rules apply, and like at any BSC event, everyone needs appropriate gear and anyone 10 and under needs to wear an approved helmet.
We have permission to use the Wooden Table parking lot, so please be respectful when parking.
Prizes awarded after the ride for the top three amounts collected, and door prizes for the rider raffle as well. Again, you can still ride without collecting donations from sponsors, the cost to ride without collecting is $ 20.00 per family.
Brent and I have had three trail rides and even though the weather was pretty cold, we have always had a fun and safe ride. This is the first time we have ever organized anything like this, so please forgive us if we don't do it perfectly. I have really enjoyed organizing the trail-a-thon, so I hope everyone has a really nice time. I thought it would be a really fun way to help out the club.
